EGAS (http://www.eps-egas.org), the European Group for Atomic Systems (formerly Atomic Spectroscopy) is a section of the Atomic and Molecular Division of the European Physical Society (http://www.eps.org). EGAS conferences are broadly based events and cover all aspects of atoms including their interactions with photons and allied fields. The conference programme consists of invited plenary talks, contributed talks and poster sessions. The 37th Conference in the series will be held at Dublin City University, August 3 – 6, 2005.
Scope of the Conferences
We encourage contributions from a wide range of fields such as atomic structure, photoionization dynamics, precision measurement and spectroscopy, cold atoms and molecules as well as topics such as anti-atoms, atoms and small molecules in high fields, instrumentation and spectroscopic applications in e.g., laboratory plasmas, astronomy and astrophysics, environmental monitoring, medicine, process control, etc.
